Why Will Prince Edward’s Kids Have To Work For A Living?

Prince EdwardPerhaps hoping to avoid the pitfalls that come with titles and notoriety, Sophie Wessex claims that the children she has with Prince Edward, Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn will most likely not use the title HRH. She has also shared a bit of the family’s life and her hopes for her children in an interview with Sunday Times Magazine.

Sophie went on to explain that her two children will not take on official royal roles and that they are being raised with the understanding that most likely they will have to work for a living like most of the earth’s individuals.

“Hence we made the decision not to use HRH titles. They have them and can decide to use them from 18, but I think it’s highly unlikely,” she said.

“I guess not everyone’s grandparents live in a castle, but where you are going is not the important part, or who they are. When they are with the Queen, she is their grandmother.”
