Will Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Meet Princess Eugenie’s New Baby?

Royal family fans heard that Princess Eugenie, the daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson welcomed her third baby earlier this month. But the arrival of the child might be a bit complicated. Read on to find out why.

According to USA Today, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, welcomed “their third child – a daughter” at “a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal.”

Buckingham Palace shared that “Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of the royal family were delighted to be informed of the news.”

Sarah Met Her Grandchild

Sarah Ferguson reportedly showed up to meet the child but she did it without much fanfare. Entertainment Now said that “Sarah Ferguson quietly travels abroad” to Melides, Portugal, to visit the family.

But she “made a quiet arrival” to help out and joined them “for dinner.”

That might be because of high interest in her current whereabouts after recent related emails dropped, and caused a lot of unfortunate publicity for her.

On News 24 Australia this week, News Corp columnist Angela Mollard told host Gabriella Power that  she believes “it’s unlikely Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor will meet daughter Princess Eugenie’s third child as he continues his public exile.”

Mollard claimed “Eugenie is estranged from her father at the moment,” while “Beatrice is a little bit more mixed on the relationship.”

She added that this birth marks “the first baby” born to either sister “since Andrew has gone into exile.”

Royal Family Support

While Andrew might be disgraced, and Fergie under scrutiny, Mollard emphasised that it seems as if the royal family still cares for their daughters, Eugenie and Beatrice. And she noted that the support comes during “a deeply tricky time for them.”

Living outside the UK might help. Mollard thinks it’s a good thing that Princess Eugenie lives in Portugal away “from the British circle.”

The complications seem to follow Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. It’s not known how the family might sort out the issues that he experiences right now.

The fact is that for the foreseeable future, he’s not going to disappear. Andrew stays put in the UK. Mollard remarked, “Andrew is a 66-year-old man” who “is not going anywhere,” making long-term visits a complex setup.

In the comments section of the video, some folks seemed a bit perplexed at bad feeling between the princesses and their father.

One of them wrote, “Why…Would they bar their father? IMO.. these young women are aware and been aware of both their mothers and fathers involvement with Epstein.”

Another follower said, “But the king knows what it’s like to not know his grandchildren, so why would he support the idea not to let Andrew meet his granddaughter?”

Some commenters interpreted the report as suggesting that Andrew had deliberately been denied access to his grandchild.
