Will Meghan Markle Bring Back Her Personal Blog?

If there’s one thing that we know about Meghan Markle, is that she loves to write and that she also loves to share details about her travels, her diet, and her sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle with her fans.

At least, she used to do that before she met Prince Harry on her now-defunct blog The Tig. However, there are new reports that suggest she might bring it back. Here’s what you need to know.

The Duchess of Sussex is a very social media savvy royal. With just a few short clicks she’s managed to make the Sussex Royal Instagram one of the hottest accounts on social media. Unfortunately, the former Hollywood actress had to shut down the blog right before she announced her engagement to Prince Harry back in November of 2017. That was the first step in her transition from a private citizen to a future member of the royal family.

However, there are new reports that suggest Meghan might be bringing her blog back and that’s because her business manager Andrew Meyer recently had filed to keep the rights to the blog’s name until at least 2021. In addition, a website titled ‘Tigtots’ was also trademarked, which fueled speculation that Meghan might also be launching a new motherhood and parenting blog, too.

The move has prompted a lot of royal observers and fans to wonder what this means for Meghan and what her next move will be.

Wouldn’t Want Someone Else To Use The Name Without Her Involvement

“It’s fascinating Meghan’s business manager has ensured she keeps the Tig for a few more years at least,” a source told The Sun. “Of course it’s understandable she wouldn’t want an entrepreneur using the name without her involvement.”

Unfortunately, a palace spokesperson released a statement that said the Duchess of Sussex currently has no plans to relaunch her site anytime soon. The Duchess, meanwhile, has not made any comments about the matter. Of course, that can certainly change at any time. We will definitely update you with more information as it comes in!
