After all, it is the most glamorous night of the year for Hollywood and both Harry and Meghan will certainly want to be there.

Will Harry and Meghan attend The Oscars this year? That’s what everyone wants to know. While some people think the glitzy event could be a perfect opportunity for the Sussexes to be seen, one expert thinks that they might also be taking a huge risk amid their cash crisis right now.

Harry and Meghan lost millions of dollars in lucrative contract deals last year when Spotify dropped them and Christian Dior decided that they also didn’t want to work with the couple.

PR expert Mark Boardman told Newsweek in an interview, “The Oscars aren’t just about statuettes; they’re a star-studded networking magnet,” adding that if Harry and Meghan do go, this “could open doors for future projects, production deals, and even lucrative endorsements.”

However, Boardman did add that for Harry and Meghan “one awkward encounter” could risk “derailing their carefully crafted image.”

So in other words, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have to be very careful with what they say, who they say it to, and who they are seen with as well. But whether or not they do attend The Oscars remains to be seen.

Harry and Meghan were the butt of some unfortunate jokes during last month’s Golden Globe ceremony. There certainly is a huge difference between people laughing at you and people laughing with you. 

So far the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made no comments about their plans for Oscars night.
