Will Prince Harry Opt To Move His Family Back To The UK, He Misses Home

Prince HarrySources close to the Prince Harry are saying that he hasn’t really taken to life in the U.S., even though he did say that California is his home for now.

Harry has spoken up about life in the U.S. several times in the past, and so far, he’s been positive about the joys of living in America, especially in the quiet neighborhood of Montecito, where he lives in a multi-million dollar mansion with his wife and two young children.

Harry Is Reportedly Worried About the Prevalent Gun Violence In America

Behind closed doors, Prince Harry has more than just a few worries about life in America, one insider told New Idea exclusively.

“Harry still finds America and its ways quite foreign,” the source said. “He worries about the social issues that are far more prevalent here, including gun violence. He spends most of his time trying to recreate his life back in London, including begging the few friends he has left in society circles to visit him.”

New Idea also reported that his childhood friend Charlie van Straubenzee has been down to visit him just last week, a few months after his cousin Princess Eugenie visited and stayed with the couple in February.

“Harry wishes he could just go for a pint at a pub with his mates, but that’s impossible in Santa Barbara, where he’d be immediately recognised,” a source said.

“It’s a far cry from his locals in London where publicans were happy to provide him private spaces to linger over a beer. It’s the little things like that he misses, as well as key things like safety.”

An Insider Claims Prince Harry Was More “Content” In Canada Than In the U.S.

A separate source revealed that the 37-year-old was “never that keen” to move to California, and was instead satisfied with the “happy medium” provided by his and Meghan’s stay on Canada’s Vancouver Island over Christmas in 2019.

“The plan as far as Harry knew, was to trial life in Canada, where he could enjoy the trappings of his royal status in a Commonwealth country, but they’d be within a three-hour flight to LA to cater to Meghan’s Hollywood ambitions,” the insider continued.

“But when COVID hit in 2020 and Canadian borders to the US were closing, Meghan hit the panic button and decided they should flee to LA.

“Six months later they’d bought a huge, expensive house in Montecito and Meghan was cold calling American politicians and booking them in with Netflix.

“It was a lot for Harry to digest and his head has only recently stopped spinning. He finds himself missing the quiet life in Canada very often.”

Perhaps the most shocking of Harry and Meghan’s showbiz commitments was the announcement of a memoir that will give the “honest” account of Harry’s life.

Royal experts predicted that he might likely be going after his step-mother Duchess Camilla and his father Prince Charles in the memoir.

At the moment, there hasn’t been any further details about the memoir, which was announced last year and said to be coming later this year.

“What that tells us is that Harry may finally be feeling some regret over the way he’s gone to town on his family in the past couple of years,” a source said. “His family will be hoping that’s the case.”
