Will Prince William Prevent Prince George From Serving In The Military?

British royal family news divulges that King Charles has shaken up the monarchy with proposed radical changes, like a slimmed down monarchy.

But one royal expert thinks that his heir Prince William could introduce even greater adjustments. This weekend William, his wife Kate Middleton, and their three children were the very picture of protocol at Trooping the Colour.

It was Princess Catherine’s first public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis in February, and royal fans were delighted to see their princess once again.

Angela Levin told GB News that the future king could shock royalists with a significant judgment about his own son and heir, Prince George’s future.

Future monarchs typically serve in the military and Levin was asked if she thought that Prince George would follow in his father and grandfather’s footsteps.

She replied “This is very interesting because Prince William doesn’t necessarily want George to do that. He doesn’t feel it’s necessary. It’s such a stamp on the Royal Family. They’re the head of the army, so what would they do without that?”

Levin went on to say that she would find not having a future regent serve in the armed forces “very difficult.”

But that could be the first of many changes for the future of the monarchy. Levin noted that William differs from his father in the matter of religion, noting that “He’s not religious. He does go once or twice a year” and “doesn’t have the same passion that Charles does.”

Speaking about these rumored possible changes, Levin speculated that William’s reign could look very different from those of the past: “I think it could be a very changed Royal Family.”

Meanwhile, on Saturday Princess Catherine treated fans to an in-person glimpse of her on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

On Friday she released a video message signaling her return and noted that she is still undergoing preventative chemotherapy following a cancer diagnosis.

She did not indicate the type or location of the cancer, which was found after a routine abdominal surgery performed in January.
