General Hospital' Recap Tuesday, July 29: Britt Hides Out In Croatia, Curtis Apologizes To Nina, Drew Looks For Willow

General Hospital recaps and updates reveal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) discusses Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) as she hides out in Croatia.

Also, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) apologizes to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) looks for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) at the Quartermaine mansion.

The Wedding Fallout

At home, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) informs Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) that Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) is worn out and asleep.

She was unaware of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) sleeping together;  Kristina mentions that sometimes hate sex can be a kink, but Alexis prefers not to talk about it.

Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) arrives and tells her sister that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is a hustler, as Krissy said; Molly shares details about her conversation with him by the pool.

She goes on a rant about the guy, which makes her sister and mother smirk knowingly; Molly tells them that Ava Jerome (Maura West) can have Cody.

She then goes upstairs, and Kristina tells her mother that she told Molly the truth but still feels guilty. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

The Davis Girls Continue To Spill The Tea

Alexis informs Krissy that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) was completely captivated by Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), and Ava requested a private meeting with her.

They revel in this news, even though Alexis is still being blackmailed by Ric and Ava. Meanwhile, upstairs, Molly hops onto her computer and reviews a note she penned earlier, detailing her new male character for the book she is crafting.

She crosses out multiple concepts that resemble Cody and instead develops the character to be his complete opposite.

Jason Morgan Talks Britt Westbourne

At the hotel bar, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati)  enjoys a drink and shares a laugh as she recalls the amusing moment when Willow left Drew at the altar.

Jason mentions that he believes he spotted Britt; Liesl responds that she often thinks she sees her in crowds, but Jason clarifies that this time feels different.

Liesl reflects on how Britt died a hero and expresses how much she misses her every day-she finds solace in knowing that Jason’s subconscious also searches for Britt.

Liesl reminisces about how joyful her daughter was when she was with Jason. She shares that her daughter had a wonderful first birthday party on the night she passed away.

Britt Hides Out In Croatia

Liesl believes her daughter would have been content with Jason; he feels regret for having hurt Britt. Liesl recalls the tragic day Britt died in her arms.

Jason discovers that Britt chose not to donate her body for research, opting instead for cremation; Liesl wishes she could reunite with her child once more. Jason then escorts her to her room.

Britt arrives at the Five Poppies Resort and Spa Dalmatia in Croatia, checks into her room, and pours herself a drink before opening Henry Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) backpack to read his notes.

She wonders what she was even paying him for. Later, she laughs about Tracy’s arrest, saying the Nurses Ball never fails to entertain; a masseuse arrives.

He gives her a massage and then suggests she roll over for an even better experience – “not tonight” she replies, angrily kicking him out before heading to bed. “Good night, Mutter,” she says.

Curtis Ashford Apologizes

During General Hospital’s Tuesday, July 29 episode, Curtis spots Nina at the Metro Court, as  Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr)  shows up and informs them that they both have the right to know that Willow and Drew are finally done.

She admits that she and Willow are also finished; tears stream down her face as she laments the loss of her daughter. Curtis reveals that he advised Willow to protect Portia’s job.

Nina believes Curtis made the right choice; she intended to do it herself anyway, it was worth it as long as Willow is no longer with Drew. She feels guilty for not telling her daughter sooner-fear of losing her paralyzed her, and now Willow is left all alone.

Martin Grey & Drew Cain Arrive At The Q’s

Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and Drew make their way to the Q mansion after scaling the wall – Drew is eager to see Willow. In the meantime, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) hesitantly checks Cody’s back for any freckles or moles; there’s nothing to be found.

They approach the door, where Drew is seen asking for Willow. Meanwhile, Tracy is taken aback, as she informs him that she isn’t there and begins to chuckle.

She ditched him, she says, claiming that she finally came to her senses, and Drew mentions that she is aware of Nina. Tracy and Cody share a laugh; suddenly, Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) bursts in to apologize for the men having jumped over the wall.

Yuri & Martin Chat About Monica Quartermaine

Yuri leads Martin into the living room while Tracy ridicules Drew, as he attempts to clarify that if it weren’t for Nina’s interference, he would have been married to Willow by now.

He pleads for an opportunity to explain, and they allow him to check for himself that Willow isn’t present. In the living room, Yuri and Martin talk about the wedding that never took place, and Martin inquires if Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson)  receives many visitors these days.

Yuri mentions that he and Monica connected over their shared experiences, and Martin chuckles at this. Tracy informs Yuri that he can now kick Drew and Martin out; however, the men exit on their own, and Drew expresses concern about Willow.

Willow Tait’s Dumb Move

Willow arrives at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) with tears on her cheeks, asking to see her children, while Carly denies her request. Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) hears her and calls out for Mommy, prompting Carly to restrain her from running to him.

She cries out, and Carly points out how distraught she looks; Willow wipes away her mascara.

When Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) rushes in, she pleads with him to allow her to see the kids. “I did what you asked,” she insists, telling them she ended things with Drew.

Michael is concerned about their children witnessing her in such a state of distress; Carly goes to look after Wiley while Michael takes his ex outside, telling her to go home.

Willow Pleads

He shouts that she won’t see the kids tonight, “and that’s that.” She tells Michael again that she knows the truth, but Michael insists the judge’s decision is final.

Willow says she’ll return to him if necessary. Michael replies that it’s too late for that. He becomes emotional and urges her to adhere to the ruling; she yells at the door as he goes inside, then watches from outside while Carly and Michael console Wiley.

Liz and Ric find her, and she pleads with them to speak to Michael; Liz believes it’s not a good idea, and advises her to think about the kids right now.

She should get some rest, and they can come back in the morning. Willow agrees but says she can’t go back to Drew’s. Liz offers for her to stay with her.

Wiley Corinthos Is Distraught

Inside, Michael tells Wiley that Mommy was in tears because she’s upset about not marrying Drew today, and then they start talking about why she can’t visit.

Carly mentions that she overlooked the judge’s decision, and Wiley understands more than what he should for his age. Wiley hopes his mother doesn’t get in trouble and there will be no legal consequences for his mother.

They reassure him and express their love before he shuffles off to bed – later, Carly is shocked when Michael tells her the wedding didn’t’ happen because  Nina and Drew were intimate.

She finds Nina to be unbelievable; Michael expresses his uncertainty about allowing Willow around the children again, as the state she was in  frightened him.

Jason’s Search

Liz and Ric bring Willow over to Liz’s home, after Willow realized she has no home to go to, since she can’t go to Drew’s or Nina’s. Willow struggles to move past her ex’s interference in her relationship with her son, and continues to cry for her children.

Ric kindly offers her some tea while Liz hands her a sleeping pill, assuring her that she can stay for as long as necessary.

Meanwhile, back at the bar, after noticing Liesl left her purse,  Jason recalls that Britt had a Five Poppies Resort and Spa bag in her possession. He proceeds to conduct an internet search for the name of the resort on his smartphone.

  1. Laurel says

Willow is a mess. I do think Nina should have told her a long time ago about her and slimy Drew. That’s on her. However, Willow holds all the fault in being so tunnel focused on Drew. That led her to believe him and I agree, Nina is right she wouldn’t have listened. But the truth would have helped.
