’90 Day Fiance’: Deavan Clegg Explains Drascilla’s Drama – It’s TLC’s Fault!

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg has been raging on her social media accounts a lot lately. In a new Instagram Story, she slammed the network for using her child to get ratings. She blames Drascilla’s drama — or at least, how it is shown on TV — on the network. She’s angry that people are judging her daughter, saying the show is fake and scripted.

Deavan already appeared on 90 Day Fiance, which featured her relationship with Jihoon Lee. After a one-night stand, she ended up pregnant and the two tried to navigate a long-distance relationship. Then, she returned for 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, in which viewers were shown how she was dealing with moving to South Korea with two young children.

While no child is perfectly behaved, Drascilla was certainly a handful and there seemed to be no parenting going on to correct the behavior. When something major did happen with the child, Drascilla and her mother would always find someone else to blame.

TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers – Deavan Clegg Blames TLC

Now, reality shows do a lot of editing that makes certain situations appear a certain way… which might not be how they really went down. That’s pretty much common knowledge. However, instead of ignoring the comments, the reality star once again blamed someone else. Since she is no longer with Jihoon, she found someone else to blame. This time it’s TLC’s fault!

Deavan wrote in her Instagram Story, “… you guys are aware that MOST reality tv shows are fake and either scripted or edited to match a storyline that storyboard teams put together before filming. Did you know that?”
She added that cast interview producers give scripts to read word-for-word and the network typecasts villains and “good guys.” Then, she wrote, “they also use children for a storyline.”

Well, it’s hard for a small child to follow a script… especially if they can’t read yet. It makes it even harder to control the way a child acts, especially if that child doesn’t listen to her caregivers in the first place.

TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers – Nobody Forced Her To Do It…

Another point worth mentioning is that nobody forced Deavan to appear on the show. She could have chosen for Drascilla to not be filmed. That’s what contract negotiations are for. Plus, if she felt that things were not going in a positive direction, she could have just quit filming. Sure, she might have had to pay a penalty for breaking the contract, but nobody chained Deavan and Driscilla down and forced them to film 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.

Our advice to the 90 Day Fiance alum? Stop talking about the show, Jihoon and Drascilla and others will stop talking about it, too. You’re only fueling the drama that you claim to be trying to stop.
