90 Day Fiance Spoilers – Aunt Lydia Says Angela DeemTreats Michael Ilesanmi Like A Child
In a commercial preview for the next episode, “Drawing The Line”, Michael’s Aunt Lydia, who viewers have seen before with Michael’s half-sister Bukky in the cake shop talking about the difficulties the couple would encounter if Angela were to try to carry a baby, even though in-vitro fertilization, talks about Angela’s overbearing personality and says Angela is way too bossy and accuses her of treating Michael like a child.
As they talk in the commercial preview, Angela gets mad over something that is said and stomps off as she usually does! However, before they can even consider getting married, there is one more hurdle to overcome, which is the fact that in Nigeria, the marriage has to be approved by a federal entity and they must attend a premarital counseling meeting and the counselors must approve their marriage.
Perhaps Angela’s bossiness could be a hindrance if she were to display it in their counseling session with the federal marriage registry! Angela admits in a TLC sneak peek showing what happens during the counseling session that she can be bossy, and maybe even somewhat controlling. On the way to the session in the car, Michael warns her not to get mad because that would not be good!
90 Day Fiance Updates – Angela Deem And Michael Ilesanmi Arrive At The Federal Marriage Registry
Michael also warns Angela not to talk about their sex life or their sex toys in the session, and they arrive for their appointment with the official counselors, a man named Adeyemi and a woman named Grace. Adeyemi tells them that they are there for premarital counseling, and also an interview because he and his coworker Grace have to approve the marriage as well as talk about other things.
They have to know that Angela and Michael are ready for marriage, for one thing, and Grace interjects they have to agree on why they want to get married, and they have to meet all the criteria for the federal marriage registry in order for Adeyami and Grace to even approve the marriage! Grace asks Michael how he and Angela met – he tells her they met on Facebook, and then she wants to know why he picked Angela out of so many other women on Facebook.
He says something drew him to her, and just kept pushing (he didn’t mention that at first, he was catfishing her!) Then she asks Angela if she is sure she wants to marry Michael – she says yes..and then asks her about marriage and divorce in her past. Angela says she was very young, seventeen, and she sees love and compassion in Michael she never saw in her first husband, who she was only married to for three years.
She clarifies to Adeyami that she thought she loved him but after a short time, she realized that wasn’t what love was. Grace then talks about the marriage laws in Ethiopia – there are three different types of marriage; traditional, Islamic, and one man one woman. In traditional marriage, a man can have more than one wife.
Angela says they’re not doing that. In Islamic marriage, a man can have as many as four wives – a definite “no” from Angela! Then there is one man one woman marriage and that is where the spouses have to stick to only each other. Angela smiles, but asks since they may not marry right away is Michael allowed to have any side chicks!
Several resounding “nos” come from Grace, and she admonishes Angela to keep her husband satisfied sexually so he has no reason to look anywhere else, and then drives the point home that Angela is to be in total submission to Michael! Angela nods yes as she does a very good acting job, and the marriage is approved! To the TLC producers, not in the marriage registry, she acknowledges that Michael knows better than to hold her to that!
