Erika Owens Wants Affection and Intimacy

In a video clip posted on YouTube, Erika says that she is continuing to have issues with Stephanie’s jealousy. She also is disappointed that she isn’t getting any kind of affection or intimacy from her online love interest.

However, they are still getting to know one another. Sure, they have gotten personable online, but that’s quite different than actually being together in real life. Everyone has issues, fears, insecurities, and baggage. Especially these two reality TV personalities.

Stephanie Motto Taking an Emotional Risk

90 Day Fiance spoilers reveal that in Stephanie’s mind, she is being cautious. She claims it is because she hasn’t been in a physical, intimate relationship in over a year. Despite this, she pushed Erika to move to the US right away and give up her personal and professional life because a “long-distance relationship isn’t working” for Stephanie.

It seems to be a bold demand considering she has some trust issues. She doesn’t want to open herself up and is scared of getting hurt. That is completely understandable, especially since Erika gave her a wild story about the dating app on her phone. Yeah, we’re not buying it.

During a recent episode, Erika was showing Stephanie something on her phone. That is when the American noticed a dating app. She told Erika to delete it, but she claimed that she uses the dating app to get professional contacts.

Sounds pretty fishy. That’s what LinkedIn is for, and I don’t know of a single business owner or company that uses dating apps to network professionally.

On the other hand, it’s understandable that Erika would want to keep her dating profile active. Sure, the show is called 90 Day Fiance, but if Stephanie isn’t willing to get close to Erika, then she might want to have a back-up plan.

Will This Couple Make It Past Their Issues?

Honestly, it seems like these two are doomed. They both have issues and obviously have different expectations from the relationship. Stephanie expects her partner to move to America immediately, even if they have a career to think about. She also doesn’t want to get close right away, so that’s a contradiction in itself.

As for Erika, we get that she has waited a long time and wants affection and intimacy. Even hand-holding would be something. However, she also needs to understand that some people don’t like taking risks with their hearts. A little time and patience can really let these two figures out if they are meant to be or not.
