Darcey Silva’s Ex-Boyfriends
Tom and Darcey have experienced plenty of issues, even after they stopped seeing each other and the public has been witnessing it all. Not only does the reality TV personality take low blows at Darcey on social media, but has since become pals with her previous ex-boyfriend, Jesse Meester. Well, he’s in hot water with viewers once again because of a comment he made about Darcey’s weight.
Weight Gain Comment
90 Day Fiance spoilers reveal that during a previous episode of the TLC reality TV show, Darcey went to England to see Tom. She thought he was going to propose but instead ended up giving her the key to his house. Afterward, the two didn’t really talk much and Darcey was upset that she didn’t even get a phone call to wish her happy birthday.
As fans recall from a recent episode, Darcey found out that Tom was seeing someone else. After confronting him, the conversation got intense. He claims that Darcey was too busy obsessing over Jesse. Then, he said that he loved her like his sister. As Darcey walked away, he delivered a low blow and insulted her by asking if she had gained weight.

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Tom Brooks Explains
After the episode aired, Tom went on Instagram and justified his comment by saying that Darcey “body-shamed” him all the time. Then, he backtracked and tried to apologize. He said he made a mistake and his weight gain comment was inappropriate.
Blaming TLC for Bad Editing
90 Day Fiance spoilers reveal that Tom has commented on the issue again, saying that it as bad editing by TLC. According to Blast, he wrote,

“The truth is they edited the hell out of the scene … it was one of the first things I said after the first 20 takes of her jacket falling of coming into the building to meet me … I was like come on get on with it …. followed by the scene you saw ‘have you put on weight’, it’s out of context and chopped to create drama I can only again apologize to her and anyone offended by the scene.”
