Last week, Lisa spoke out during an Instagram live and said that she was the victim of a romance scam. Now, fans aren’t too surprised at this. It has long been speculated that Usman was just using her to get into the United States. In fact, he made it clear multiple times during 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days that getting to America was “important” to him. He also said his career goal was to become a music star in the US.

However, fans quickly started taking Usman’s side when they saw how abusive Lisa was toward the man she supposedly loved. Now, it seems like viewers might switch sides.

Usman Umar Admits ‘Pity Love’ – TLC 90 Days Scam

More recently, Domenick Nati had a remote video interview with Usman on Saturday, which can be viewed on Instagram. The Nigerian entertainer had the opportunity to respond to Lisa’s accusations. Now, previously Usman wrote on Instagram that he did not scam Lisa and claimed she used her dead daughter to get pity. However, now he is saying something different.

Usman said that he pities Lisa. While she loves him “more than anything,” he would be just fine if she would give Usman his freedom.  “I am telling you — it wasn’t ‘love for love,’ it was ‘in love for pity.'”

As we previously reported, during a chat during a podcast, Usman said that he was forced into a relationship with Lisa. He claimed that if he wouldn’t say he loved her too, then she threatened suicide. Soon after it went public, Lisa’s rep fought back and said those statements were not true. It was explained that Usman was simply angry with Lisa at the time, but fans weren’t sure what to believe.

Used 90 Day Fiance To Boost Music Career

Usman also indicated that he did indeed use Lisa’s love and being on the TLC reality TV show to boost his music career. And he’s not apologizing for it.

“A lot of people are saying I came to 90 Day Fiance because I want to be a good musician… and there’s nothing wrong with that.”
