‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star Sumit Singh’s Family Welcomes Him Back Home

Sumit Singh debuted on the TLC show when he met his girlfriend, now wife, Jenny Slaten, on Facebook. Jenny left for India to finally see the love of her life in person. However, the moment turned sour when she learned straight from her beau’s in-laws that Sumit was still married to an Indian woman, and this led the mother-of-one to pack her things and fly back to the United States.

The love they have for each other must be so strong that they were able to patch things up despite the issues they faced, including family dramas, and cultural and age differences. Jenny traveled to India once again and secretly married Sumit during Season 3 of “90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.” With the happy photos they keep uploading online, fans believed that Jenny and Sumit have made the right decision to end up with each other.

After all his heartbreaking family issues, Sumit’s parents welcomed him back home again. In a confessional, the TLC star’s father stated, “There was a time when my wife was not talking to Sumit. She doesn’t want to see his face, but the time has changed. Now, she is talking to him very gently and very sweetly.”

However, Jenny was still not in the picture as they still refused to accept her as their son’s wife. On the other hand, the Palm Springs resident was totally okay with their arrangement as she doesn’t want to involve herself in an uncomfortable situation. “I’d rather just stay home where I’m safe,” Jenny stated.

During the Tell-All, Jenny told costar, Kim Menzies, about her plans to leave India with Sumit. “So, he can experience a loving family instead of always fighting and everyone screaming and crying all the time, and you know, it just gets to be too much after a while,” she told Kim. However, when Kim opened up about the possibility of Jenny leaving India alone, the Palm Springs native considers the idea.
