These days, if it looks like you’re famous and it looks like you’re losing weight, people tend to think it’s the work of Ozempic; the drug that recently swept through Hollywood like wildfire. It even got so Barbra Streisand was asking Melissa McCarthy if she takes Ozempic.

But when it comes to Pineda’s case the answer is much simpler, albeit sader, than the whole Ozempic theory. She’s losing weight because she’s dealing with a lot of emotional turmoils that is possibly influenced with her mom’s cancer diagnosis.

Fans first got acquainted with Pineda, 37, when she appeared on the 5th season of “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” with Michigan man Gino Palazzolo. After dating for three years, Pineda, who is from Panama, and her partner Palazzolo tied the knot.

However, life after marriage has not been exactly a fairytale as her trust issues and extravagant lifestyle has often led to disagreements between her and Palazzolo.

While fans get to see some of this undoubtedly stressful situations on the show, no one can claim to know the full story. So when Pineda shared a new picture of her looking skinnier in jeans, fans were quick to blame Ozempic for the transformation.

Pineda quickly resisted this claim by sharing, “No doctor in their sane mind will give me Ozempic. I’m not taking it nor I have any interest on doing so. I have lost some more weight but it has been stress related. Have a nice day.”

While the reality TV star revealed that she’s not in a good place, she was secretive about the reason for it. She did post a recent photo of herself crying, with a blooming flower GIF and no explanation as to what hurt her.

There’s also reason to believe that she and Palazzolo may have split up. We’d probably know for sure soon enough since Pineda and Palazzolo reportedly filmed “90 Day: The Last Resort” season 2 in April 2024 in Arizona.
