What happened to Alaskan Bush People’s Bear Brown?
On Monday, Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown had his Instagram followers concerned over his well-being. This was after the Discovery Channel star, 35, shared an image of himself in hospital, wearing a face mask and revealing a hospital bracelet on his wrist.
In his caption, Bear wrote simply, “Oops,” with no further details, but when a fan asked if he was OK, Brown did reassure his followers by saying, “Yes.”
His post about a medical scare led to the comment section flowing with concern from his followers. One wrote, “Goodness, hope nothing too serious, get well soon.” Meanwhile, another wrote, “I hope your [sic] OK. Another fan wrote a comment, quoting Bear’s username and writing, “Oops maybe a bit too extreme bearbrownthekingofextreme.”
Another had a good point, commenting, “Now you darn well know everyone is gonna [sic] ask what happened. Should’ve just said if your [sic] going to post about it.”
Keeping up with Bear Brown on Instagram
While Bear didn’t at that stage release any information about his hospitalization, the Alaskan Bush People star did make a happier post on Sunday. He asked his followers to vote for his Joker cosplay in the Cosplaystar competition. So far, Brown is in first place in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, on his voting page, he wrote, “grew up reading comics and always thought they were cool.” In fact, he said the first costume he ever made when he was nine was a Spider-Man costume. Moreover, Bear said he had the help of his father, Billy Brown, who passed away in February 2021 at the age of 68.
Of course, Bear isn’t alone on Discovery Channel as he stars with his mother, Ami Brown and his siblings, Joshua, Gabe, Noah, Bird and Rain. The reality show first aired in 2014 and reveals the life of what they term the “wolf pack” while living in the wild.
Reason for Bear Brown’s hospital visit
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Bear did open up about what caused him to head to the hospital, writing:
Hey everybody! I was working yesterday, hauling hay and undoing old barbed wire and I accidentally stabbed myself really deep with a rusty piece of barbed wire so I had to go to the emergency room, to get a tetanus shot!
So, luckily, nothing serious happened to Bear Brown as his trip to the emergency room was just about being safe not sorry with a tetanus shot.
