“American Horror Stories” Trailer

On Wednesday, June 23, FX on Hulu released the first full-length teaser for “American Horror Stories”, and “American Horror Story” fans can be sure that there will be some nostalgic moments. The teaser takes the fans of the series back to the beginning, and to the very house where the chilling stories first happened.

In the creepy new tease, viewers follow a Rubber Woman as she makes her way into into Season One’s Murder House.

“American Horror Stories” is a spin-off of the popular and award-winning anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk “American Horror Story”.

Since its premiere in 2011, the original series has terrified and awed its fans with blood-curdling stories of a creepy asylum, a coven of witches, a traveling freak show, a haunted hotel and so much more. With the spin-off, dedicated fans are eager to see what new horrors the show can imagine, and if the teaser is anything to go by, it’ll be a wild ride.

Even though it’s taking viewers back into the house where the nightmares began, it has it’s own different touches that promises to make it feel brand-new. “Horror comes home,” were the words highlighted in the new teaser pic for the upcoming spin-off series.

The house that “AH Story” fans recognize so well is surrounded by dark clouds in the picture. Crows and a blood-red field add mystery to the poster, and in the distance, the Rubber Woman looks on at the house. As for how much of murder house fans can expect to see in the forthcoming spin-off, some news outlets are predicting that since AH Story “is a weekly anthology series that will feature a different horror story each episode”, fans could possibly only see it for one part of the show. But it is not a given since this is a spin-off and it might as well not follow the pattern of the original.

“American Horror Stories” Details

As for who is now in the mysterious black rubber suit, it’s not yet revealed. The creepy character was first made famous by Evan Peter’s Tate Langdon character. Further down the series and the devil spawn Michael Langdon (Cody Fern) wore the suit to commit obscene murders inside Murder House.

Earlier this month, creator Ryan Murphy revealed some of the characters that will be leading the spin-off on his Instagram page: Glee’s Kevin McHale, Pose’s Dyllón Burnside, Riverdale’s Charles Melton (an American Horror Story alum, who made an appearance in two episodes of season 5) and The Prom’s Nico Greetham. Ryan Murphy captioned a smiling picture of the four young stars, “The Fantastic Four”.

Following the announcement, Kevin also took to Instagram to share the same group photo, but with the caption “Prom + Glee + Pose + Hotel = ?”

Fans of the franchise have a lot of horror to look forward to this summer as, once the spooky spin-off is done airing, Season 10 of the OG series, titled “American Horror Story: Double Feature”, will premiere on Wednesday, August 25 on FX. It’s definitely more horror than fans can handle.

“American Horror Stories” premieres with back-to-back episodes on July 15 exclusively on FX on Hulu.
