Price Is Right is at the center of Big Brother’s Season 26 controversy. These shows rarely crossover. But fans are upset over this rare moment that happened. Some accused CBS of promoting a bully. Keep on reading to learn more.
Price Is Right – Called Out For Big Brother Promotion
Big Brother Season 26 premiered on Wednesday, July 17. The two-night premiere aired on CBS and streamed the following day on Paramount Plus. Ever since its premiere, the show has been under fire for featuring racist and misogynistic contestants.
Fans are also upset at the change in the live feeds, which allowed them to see what went on in the house, in between episodes.
The Price Is Right is a wholesome daytime program that avoids controversy. That all changed when the show featured Big Brother contestant Angela Murray. Fans of both Big Brother and The Price Is Right called out CBS for promoting the alleged bully.
Angela is no stranger to game shows. She was featured in a recent CBS docuseries. She calls herself a game show enthusiast.
The new docuseries entitled The House Calls With Dr. Phil stars famed television doctor Dr. Phil McGraw. He travels across the country to visit families who need his help.
Angela Murray and her family appeared in the show’s first episode. In the episode, Dr. Phil helps the family solve their crisis by working in an escape room. This isn’t the first time that Angela appeared on reality television.
She also appeared on The Price is Right. These former clips of the Big Brother contestant went viral on social media in light of the current season.
CBS – Slammed For Promoting Angela Murray
One of the clips wound up on X, formerly Twitter. “Angela being on the price is right in 2019 is the lore I needed to learn today,” one fan wrote. Another fan revealed that Angela Murray was also on Let’s Make a Deal, which also airs on CBS.
Angela caught controversy when she argued with fellow Big Brother contestant Matt Harderman. The confrontation occurred in the Big Brother house where they bickered over an upcoming competition. Angela’s biography claims she has a “big heart” and isn’t “afraid to share my opinions.”
Viewers beg to differ about her character. This scene caused a strong reaction among Big Brother fans. Most of them took to the comment section of the YouTube video to share their thoughts on Angela Murray’s strategy and gameplay.
“I say Angela needs to go she is so rude and one big bully. If Matt goes, I am done with this show,” one fan wrote.
“Angela is clearly a huge threat to everyone in the house & is losing her mind, that’s why she needs to be the 2nd houseguest evicted next Thursday,” another user mused.
Unfortunately, Matt was evicted on the Thursday, July 25th episode. What are your thoughts on Angela Murray making the game show rounds? Did you know that she once appeared on The Price Is Right? Sound off below in the comment section.
