CBS’ new series Tracker underwent a schedule change for the fall 2024 premiere. Some fans are baffled by this news. However, this isn’t the only drama impacted by the shakeup. Keep on reading to learn more.
CBS – Makes Changes To Tracker
CBS announced a change to the upcoming fall 2024 lineup. Two popular series were impacted due to the high ratings they command. Tracker is the new action series that stars Justin Hartley.
The series follows his character Colter Shaw and his journey to travel across the country in an RV to help local police and citizens solve crimes.
It will premiere sooner than the fall 2024 lineup. Tracker was initially scheduled for a Sunday, October 27 premiere. Season 2 will premiere on October 13th instead.
The lineup for that night starts with 60 Minutes at 7 p.m. ET, Tracker at 8 p.m. ET, and the Season 26 finale of Big Brother.
Big Brother is running later than usual this year. That’s because the game show just premiered in early July. Tracker is one of two shows that’s getting a shakeup.
Queen Latifah’s new series The Equalizer will also undergo a shakeup. Season 5 was also scheduled for a Sunday, October 27th premiere. But it will not premiere on October 20th.
That night’s lineup starts with a 90-minute episode of 60 Minutes at 7 p.m. ET. It’s followed by Episode 2 of Season 2 of Tracker at 8:30 p.m. ET. The Equalizer will premiere Season 5 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
Some fans need clarification on the sudden schedule shakeup. They wanted to know why CBS made this last-minute change. “Not really getting the strategy of later premieres,” one fan wrote.
Justin Hartley – Releases Statement
On Friday, July 26, Justin Hartley shared a video message with fans on Instagram. He told his fans they’ve been listening to the viewers about the upcoming premiere. Some fans have been begging for more of the hit series. Justin explained the reason for the earlier premiere.

Fans took to the comment section of the Instagram post to react. Most of them couldn’t hold back from their excitement over this news. Justin Hartley’s co-star Eric Graise wrote, “They’re not ready for how good this season is gonna be.”
