“Cold Justice” Season 6 Trailer

The series is an investigative true crime series originally broadcast on TNT and later Oxygen. The series follows former Harris County, Texas prosecutor Kelly Siegler, and a team of investigators as they re-open unsolved murder cases with both the consent and the assistance of the local law enforcement.

As of April 2018, the team’s efforts has led to 35 arrests and 18 convictions, in addition to four confessions, three guilty pleas and three murder convictions.

The show follows Sieglar, a veteran prosecutor and a cycling team of seasoned detectives (Steve Spingola, Tonya Rider and Abbey Abbondandolo) as they go to small towns to dig into unsolved homicide cases that have been dormant for years without answers and no justice for the victims.

In the Season 6 opener, Siegler and Abbondandolo head to Stafford, Texas to look into the cold-blooded killing of tow truck business owner Jerry Don Humphrey. The next episode sees Siegler and Spingola trying to solve a case from Rosenberg, Texas, in which a loving father was badly beaten and shot to death in his home, as his 6-year-old daughter sleeps nearby. Also among the cold cases about to be revisited is what is interestingly referred to as “the biggest unsolved case in Picayune history.”
