The 53-year-old actor was hit with evidence. The hosts revealed that Jennifer Aniston joined Instagram back in October with a photo of the entire cast together. They also noted that Matthew Perry joined Instagram earlier this month. He also tweeted to fans about some “big news.” However, Schwimmer didn’t want to address anything. Even though the news is out there, he didn’t want to talk about the Friends reunion show, as reported by Fox News. “I think he’s pregnant,” Schwimmer joked.
The hosts also said that reports claim that the entire cast has agreed to do a reunion special which will stream on HBO Max. Schwimmer appeared shocked over the news that has been swirling for weeks.
“This is the first time I’ve heard any kind of tabloid reporting a ‘Friends’ reunion,” Schwimmer said sarcastically. “First of all, I’m so glad I finally get to answer this question.” But he didn’t answer the question. He didn’t want to tease the details of the upcoming Friends project.
“I really wish I could confirm or deny,” Schwimmer continued. “There’s nothing official to report, unfortunately. I can say that maybe Matthew Perry is pregnant.”
The Hollywood Reporter claimed that an unscripted series is in the works at HBO Max that will feature the original cast including creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman. This comes after Anison said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the cast has been “working on something” other than a reboot.
HBO Max is expected to launch in May. It appears that the Friends reunion special will be shot in a matter of weeks or days before the launch. What are your thoughts? Do you think the reunion special will happen? Sound off below in the comments section.
