Christopher Eccleston made his return to the TARDIS fifteen years after playing the Ninth Doctor on Doctor Who back in 2005. He appeared at the Doctor Who fan convention. Doctor Who is a popular British television program that’s aired over fifty years. The series is about a time traveler who hails from the planet Gallifrey known as the Doctor. Eccleston’s Ninth Doctor was one of the most notable moments since he survived the galactic Time War.
As Screen Rant reported, he also made an appearance at the Doctor Who fan convention called Gallifrey One, which is held for Doctor Who fans around the world. He made an appearance in the TARDIS. A Doctor Who fan captured the moment on Twitter.

This gives the series the ability to recast a new Doctor every few years. Eccleston’s portrayal of the Ninth Doctor was well-received.
His ability to go from dark-edge lord humor to lighthearted humor made him so relatable. It also set the precedent for the other Doctors. Some would say that Eccleston’s Doctor inspired Jodie Whittaker’s 13th Doctor. The character can crack a joke, but anyone who messes with the Doctor’s friends will unleash the Time Lord’s wrath. Fans were upset when the Ninth Doctor didn’t appear in the 50th-anniversary episode.
Eccleston felt a lot of pressure when Doctor Who was revived in 2005. The Ninth Doctor had many iconic moments, and fans were upset when he regenerated into David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor.
