Ben Rathbun and Mahogany debuted on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 days, and TLC fans didn’t take to the couple. Initially, some fans thought he was quite sweet, but by the end of their season, they couldn’t stand him. General opinion had it that they were both catfish who deserved no further attention. Now, fans wonder if he’s pranking them as a new photo emerged on Instagram.

When a photo of Ben and Mahogany surfaced on Instagram, some folks said they had already forgotten them. Well, they seemed forgettable as Ben never came across as the rugged fitness fanatic that he claimed to be. The previously married pastor with kids the same age as the elusive Mahogany didn’t generate the feels from fans.

90 Day Fiance fans saw that it took a long time for the thirsty actor to meet up with Mahogany. So, when he finally, did, they already suspected her of being a catfish. There4fdore few of them felt surprised that she lied about owning an apartment. Plenty of lies followed, and then to the amazement of followers, he rationalized them all away. Actually, it all seemed very contrived and scripted. So, folks lost interest.

This week, a photo surfaced on the internet. It revealed Ben and Mahogany sitting together in a place that looked like the restaurant where they first got together. As Mahogany wore a ring, fans thought it was all just a way of trying to stay relevant.  TLC fans don’t take kindly to cryptic messages and without context, it made them look silly. 

90 Day Fiance influencer, Marrypants shared the photo on Instagram. In the caption, they wrote, “Engagement? marriage? kids? Isn’t it more like the time to wind down? 😂” But if you look for a giggle, the hashtags said a lot more: “#oldage #nevergiveup.” One fan theorized that the couple just wants to stay relevant to get on Pillow Talk.

90 Day Fiance fans don’t all think that Mahogany and Ben Rathbun are pranking them. Actually, several of them felt they were being rolled with fake news. One commenter said, “We’re definitely being trolled.” 

Further down in the conversation, another follower noted, “This has to be a publicity stunt.”

One long reply pretty much nutshelled it for TLC fans: “I don’t trust anything about these two. First another blog publishes a photo that they were spotted in Peru together this week, now they post a public engagement. They think they are being slick. There are just too many lies that have come from these two, plus they are both actors….I just don’t trust any of it. Plus they are both uninteresting, I hope they don’t make it on the show again.”
