According to The View spoilers, Joy Behar wants to produce the talk show. She shared her next career move.

During the Thursday, December 7 episode of the podcast episode, the show’s executive producer, Brian Teta, said Joy gives constructive feedback about the talk show. She watches the episodes she’s not on.

She typically takes Mondays off. Her co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin hold down the table. Joy watches the Monday episodes with suggestions. She emails Brian with new “Hot Topic” ideas.

Brian admitted that Joy “has a lot of thoughts” when she’s away. This prompted her to talk about her retirement. She joked that she would make a “good producer.” Joy then teased the next step in her career.

“If I ever retire, maybe they should hire me as a consultant and a producer,” Joy Behar said. “Not an everyday producer; I don’t want to do that. But as a consultant, they should.”

The View spoilers suggest that Joy Behar will retire eventually. She joined the hit ABC talk show in 1996 before her firing in 2007.

She then moved to Today for a brief stint. Joy later returned to the panel in 2015, when she became a permanent co-host.

The comedian opened up about retirement before. Back in September on the podcast, Brian asked Joy if she would ever retire.

She admits that it’s a question that she gets a lot. Joy joked that she’s not the type of person to ever retire.

“First of all, people like me don’t retire. I’m a creative person…” Joy Behar explained. “I’m a writer. There’s no such thing as retiring. You mean, will I quit the show?”

“Yeah, of course,” Brian responded.
