Marvel’s Runaways is expected to end with Season 3 on Hulu. Fans are wondering if Kevin Feige made a career-ending mistake by ending this series so soon. But with the launch of Disney+ last week, it could find new life on the streaming service. Ten episodes of the third season of the Hulu series is expected to premiere on Dec. 13.

Marvel’s Runways fans shouldn’t be so surprised to learn that the drama will end with no closure, according to Deadline. The story is expected to approach its natural ending point at the end of Season 3. During Season 3, the Runaways will continue their search for their friends Chase, Gert, and Karolina. They will always come across with their enemy who has it out for Leslie – or the child she’s carrying. Nico has attracted the Runaways into a dark realm where the ruler, Morgan le Fay (Elizabeth Hurley) is the most villainous character that the kids will ever come across in their life.

The series is produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, including former Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb and Quinton Peeples. Marvel’s Runaways is a co-production effort with ABC Signature Studios, which is also part of Disney’s Television Studios. If Marvel fans are truly upset to hear about the ending of this stories, their cries could be heard loud enough to give it new life on the Disney+ streaming platform.

Some are wondering if Kevin Feige is making a mistake by ending the show. While Feige has the secret ingredient for making MCU movies and shows work, some are wishing he would make smarter media choices. Fans are asking for Feige to reconsider his decision to cancel the Marvel series. Is he really canceling the Runaways on Hulu, or is it just another strategy to revive the characters on another platform like Disney+?

According to Showbiz CheatSheet, Disney+ could come into factor, especially with the Runaways. But it could become its own MCU movie, which would be a little too late. The chances of the Runaways appearing on Disney+ or as a standalone film would be slim to none. It could take four years for either to come into development. That would make the teen cast too old to play their respective parts again.

With Runaways about to end, Marvel’s other portfolio on Hulu will include Helstrom, Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K., Marvel’s Tigra & Dazzler Show, and Marvel’s the Offenders. In addition, Marvel’s Howard the Duck is expected to premiere some time in 2020.
