NCIS Season 19 – Gets Premiere Date

CBS traditionally celebrates autumn by scheduling the premieres of its fall lineup in September. And that’s good news for those who want the original NCIS to kick off season 19 ASAP!

However, get ready to change any automatic recordings you preset for NCIS in anticipation that the show would return to its regular night.

Instead, CBS is debuting season 19 of NCIS on a new night. The season will begin on September 20, Monday.

The original NCIS Twitter account unveiled the news, writing, “The more you know. The new season of #NCIS premieres Monday, September 20th.”

Fans made the announcement viral, retweeting and liking the news hundreds of times.

Scheduled for 9 p.m. ET/PT, NCIS season 19 will serve as the lead-in to yet another NCIS spin-off, NCIS: Hawai’i, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Aloha!

NCIS Executive Producer Tweets Season 19 Script Photo!

Cast members and producers sometimes share photos and videos that offer behind the scenes looks at shows.

But now NCIS executive producer Christopher J. Waild  has created a twist on that tradition!

Turning to Twitter, Waild shared a photo from the actual opening page of the NCIS season 19 script.

And the executive producer also tweeted a heartfelt tribute to both the NCIS crew and cast as he celebrated the first day of filming season 19.

“Day one of Season 19. So grateful to be back on set with the best cast and crew in the biz. #NCIS,” wrote Waild.

Given that the script specifically warns: “DO NOT COPY OR DISTRIBUTE,” Christopher may find himself in hot water!

Fans appreciated the insider look at the script for the table read, giving the script photo plenty of likes.

But the executive producer also got some story line requests for season 19.

“Let’s hope we are not losing more of our beloved characters this season. I still can’t get over Breena”s and Emily’s death,” tweeted one NCIS fan.

Some hoped for the return of original cast members from the show.

“Guest appearances of previous main characters are also always welcome,” suggested an NCIS viewer. “I would just love to see the happy DiNozzo-David family all together.

And get ready for the rumors to spread. Even though season 19 hasn’t debuted, apparently the NCIS gossip mill is churning out predictions!
