Have Any Casting Details Been Released?
The question of who will be cast in CIA is certainly relevant, but as of now, only Tom Ellis has been confirmed for the role, with no character details released yet.
This crime drama revolves around an unlikely duo: a charismatic, rule-bending CIA officer (Tom Ellis) and a disciplined, experienced FBI agent who strictly adheres to the law.
When this mismatched pair is tasked with working at the CIA’s New York Station, they must collaborate to tackle cases and criminals that threaten the U.S. In the process they discover that their contrasting approaches may actually serve as their greatest asset.
Alongside Dick Wolf, the executive production team includes showrunner David Hudgins, Nicole Perlman, David Chasteen, and Peter Jankowski.
What Other Details Are Available?
The series is produced by Universal Television, part of Universal Studio Group, in collaboration with Wolf Entertainment and CBS Studios.
Is there a preview trailer for the CIA series; not at this moment; it’s still too soon. Will any characters from the FBI show make an appearance in the new series-so far, none have been confirmed.
What about the other shows in the FBI franchise-the main FBI series has been renewed for its 8th and 9th seasons as part of a three-year deal.
However, the spinoffs, International and Most Wanted, have been canceled and will conclude with their current fourth and sixth seasons, respectively.
