The one-minute trailer opens with a voice saying she “found something in the woods“. We then see Archie (KJ Apa) walking through a field with weird voodoo dolls and immediately affirming that it must be the work of Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch). Fans of the drama series wouldn’t be so quick as to blame him for pointing fingers at Blossom, as she did round out season five as a sort of witch/supernatural/saint combo.

Apart from the supernatural stuff, Archie’s personal life is about to take a dramatic turn as he and Betty (Lili Reinhart) plan their future together. We hear Betty telling him in the trailer, “There’s nothing I want more than to have your baby,” before diving deep into him.

Archie’s ex-girlfriend Veronica (Camila Mendes) and new boyfriend Reggie (Charles Melton) are on a bigger, and even, deadlier mission. The devil’s presence in Riverdale is frightening, but there’s a doubt whether he could in fact be the devil, probably because of his plain appearance.

Sabrina Spellman Finally Arrives At “Riverdale”

As far back as season one, the showrunner Aguirre-Sacasa has been courting the idea of bringing the “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” star Kiernan Shipka into Riverdale. The wait may be long, but finally, Sabrina is about to make a debut in “Riverdale’s” five-episode season 6.

Earlier this month, the star posted a picture of herself on the set of the CW show. She captioned the snap: “From Greendale to Riverdale. See u in Season 6.”

Sabrina’s full debut, which coincided with Cheryl trying out a spell “that may mean the difference between life and death for a beloved member of the Blossom family”, will happen in episode four.

“Riverdale” Returns To The CW For Its Sixth Season On Nov. 16.
