Ryan Dorsey Praises Late ‘Glee’ Star Naya Rivera

Ryan DorseyHollywood news and updates tease that Ryan Dorsey emotionally penned a loving message for his late ex-wife, Naya Rivera, on Mother’s Day.

Ryan Dorsey was romantically linked to the “Glee” star, Naya Rivera, tied a knot last 2014, and shared a son named Josey. However, the two didn’t last long and called it quits four years later. Last July 2020, an incident involving Rivera and her son at Lake Piru in Southern California, led the mother-of-one to go missing for five days.

It all started when their rented boat was not returned on time and the staff found Josey sleeping alone on board without his mother by his side. Rivera’s cause of death was accidental drowning and she was laid to rest on July 24, 2020.

The 38-year-old actor brought to social media his sentiments as he penned a Mother’s Day message for his estranged wife. He uploaded a photo of Josey being carried by his mom, and a lot of throwback photos of Rivera spending quality time with their son. The photos include captured images of flowers in the late actress’ grave.

Dorsey captioned the post reminiscing the fun times he had with Rivera and their son. The actor admitted that he still can’t believe that the mother of his child is no longer alive. He wrote, “The harder I think about things, it’s harder to believe. Un-f**king-believable, still that this is reality.”

“The thing about LA for me is its like every mile or so I drive is a memory of an experience that stings because it’s gone,” he continued. Dorsey ended his post by reminding everyone to give hugs and love to all mothers and grandmothers. Fans filled the post with messages of love in the comments section, including Naya Rivera’s “Glee” co-stars, Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Kevin McHale.

In other news, Dianna Agron recently appeared on Allison Interviews to promote her latest movie titled “As They Made Us.” She shared some of her moments with Naya Rivera when they filmed “Glee” together and she revealed that the late actress was “wickedly funny” and was her “first friend on set.”

“She was just very unique and special in the way she carried herself with such confidence and certainty. If she believed in something, or in you as a person, she would always uplift those ideas,” Agron shared on the podcast.
