Source Claims ‘The View’s’ Move To New Studio Saved The Show

Life is always better and grander when we upgrade, and according to a source, fans’ attention on the ‘The View’ was re-animated when they moved to a new and incredibly posh studio.

Now we can watch the ladies we love keep us up on all the latest trending news in an environment we love. Everybody wins, I guess, because this source revealed that the numbers have never looked so good in a long time.

Moving To A New Studio Injected ‘The View’ With Some New Energy

Once upon a time, ‘The View’ was dangling on the edge of an axe if they couldn’t get their ratings up, but the bosses are now singing a different tune, per a network source speaking to Closer.

So for the foreseeable future, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg and the rest get to keep their jobs and we get to keep being entertained by them.

“Go back 10 months, and there was a lot of uncertainty around this show, and the move to a new studio last fall was seen as more of a hail mary than just a fresh coat of paint,” a network source told Closer in an exclusive interview.

“But that move actually made a huge difference and injected the show with some new energy and feistiness that it badly needed. Can bigger, nicer dressing rooms alone be the reason for this? Of course not.”

What ‘The View’ Ladies Said About Relocating To A New Studio

Moving can be such sweet sorrow, and strangely stressful as well. In August 2024, fans were shocked when they learned that the show would be moving out of their longtime New York City studio home to a new location downtown.

There were speculations on how they could adapt to the new environment, but at the time all ‘The View’ ladies wanted to talk about was packing their stuff.

“We’ve had to, for the past couple of weeks, box up things, get rid of things … We were allotted, each host, five huge cartons. I took up two, Sara [Haines] took up all five and was looking for more!” Sunny Hostin told viewers at the time.

“And Ana [Navarro], please don’t say that you were a purger, because I think you had over 50 pairs of shoes in your [dressing] room,” she joked about her cohost.

However, the reinvigorated love that ‘The View’ is getting doesn’t start and end with their relocation, but their recent move to talk about and dissect the hardest and most controversial topics.

Goldberg has certainly felt the heat from time to time due to her stance on such matters, but I guess it’s occupational hazard.

“Simultaneous to the physical move downtown, you really saw Whoopi and Joy step up their on-air game, which was needed, and Sunny’s preparation for each show, in the host banter and interview segments, is clearly top of class,” the insider added.
