Supernatural’s Misha Collins is opening up about his time on the beloved sci-fi series. He’s also talked about what it was like to be a co-author of The Adventurous Easters Club. The busy actor spoke to Hollywood Life about the inspiration behind his new cookbook, including what’s next for Castiel.
Supernatural’s Final Season
Supernatural is finally saying goodbye after 15 seasons. However, there are still plenty of episodes left until the series finale. Misha Collins is just one of the well-known actors on the popular series. Collins plays the role as Castiel. The character was just seen telling Sam and Dean Winchester that it was “time to move on” in a recent episode. Collins revealed to Hollywood Life that Castiel’s journey is coming to an end as well.
Collins said that Supernatural fans will see Castiel go off on his own. But, of course, Castiel will make one more return to see the Winchester brothers one last time. He’s also driven back to town because of their recent confrontation with God. Of course, fans can expect the tension between Castiel and Dean to play out on the screen for some time, and it may not reach a resolution, Collins revealed. But this will lead the viewers to understand what has finally been bothering Dean all this time. So, it’ll be some time until the characters reach a full resolution.
Supernatural Spoilers – Castiel’s Future
Collins is very busy. Not only does he appear on Supernatural, but he also co-wrote The Adventurous Eaters Club: Mastering the Art of Family Mealtime alongside his wife Vicki Collins. Collins’s new cookbook released earlier this month. In his interview, Collins said his inspiration behind the cookbook was from their two children: West and Maison. The couple realized that feeding their children was a disappointing experience. So, they experimented with foods that are colorful, delicious, and appealing to look at.
Most of the meals in the cookbook take a half-hour to cook, which is good for families with “hangry” children. Collins also offers advice for parents with picky children. He advises parents to give their children “multiple opportunities” to try a new dish before they taste it. Sometimes it can take 15 times until a kid is willing to try something new. It’s about practicing patience but giving your child plenty of choices.
Supernatural airs on Thursdays at 8/7 c on The CW.
