The matching tattoos could also hint that Sam could ultimately end up as a villain. In Season 14 of the Supernatural finale, God used his Equalizer gun to manipulate the Winchester brothers into killing Jack. Since the younger brother is a Nephilim, the gun worked in his favor, and this is also where God’s plan went wrong. After Sam and Dean got into a kerfuffle with Chuck, Sam shot at Earth’s Lord and Savior, hitting him right in the shoulder. As a result, Sam recoiled in pain, as if he was shot with the bullet.
That injury has been revealed as God and Sam Winchester share their similar wounds in Supernatural Season 15, as reported by ScreenRant. Ever since then, Sam has been suffering from bouts of confusion and blackouts. Castiel’s magic couldn’t even heal him. Castiel revealed that he’s never seen anything like this before. The injury has also chipped away at God’s powers, leaving him unable to traverse universes like he used to. Since he’s trapped on Earth and not able to fight, God ends up frustrated. And an angry God that’s not a good future for the Winchester brothers.
But what do the matching wounds mean for Supernatural as it approaches its ending? Showrunner Andrew Dabb called the injuries a “string” that links the two brothers together. Of course, that comes with both good and bad news. The advantage of this situation is that Sam and Dean finally have a link to their arch enemy if they know how to use it. But the disadvantage could be revealed in Supernatural’s finale. Sam could end up becoming a villain after all.

In addition, the wounds could end up killing God or Sam. God doesn’t seem as startled by his injury as the brothers do. He’s just annoyed that he can’t use his power to his full advantage. Supernatural viewers may witness one brother dying, even though a reboot is said to be in the works. As fans know, Dean will go to great lengths to save his brother, and the story could end up as a cliffhanger.
These bullet wounds could end up destroying the Winchester brothers as we know it. Or, it could result in fate for one of them. But what we do know is that Sam and Dean are ready to fight. What are your thoughts, Supernatural fans?
Do you the bullet wounds could tear Sam and Dean apart? Do you think Sam will become a villain? Do you think someone will die in the finale? Share your thoughts below in the comments section.
In my mind there are only a few or so conclusions for supernatural, all of them will hurt us make us sad af or make us cry joy. What they can’t do is cop out or Leave it boring.
So far I have kept 2,3, maybe four scenarios in mind. Until episode four w Sams visions, along with God losing his powrs. This is something else & something I haven’t thought of – Breaking them apart ? It’s been attempted over and over again through the years.
Here’s my thought – it never works totally.
If we think of how Supernatural works from previous years you know we are being steered toward one Direction w A twists and turns that builds up, making it even worse. That’s my fear. But think of this – They always turn it back To A satisfying conclusion by The following season. Of course there won’t be another season. So what do you think? End the Winchester brothers on the most important supernatural episode of all time ? NO WAY. They will lead us to believe it – but something at the very end will happen to save it all. My gut tells me that it will be a heart wrenching moment – but the Brothers will always Be inseparable!! Someone that we think is over or forgotten about WILL appear & save everything.
Now with the reboot in mind ? They wouldn’t be able to end it that way, unfortunately . Unless the reboot focuses on a different character . Hmmm.shit.
