The Blacklist  Spoilers – What Fans Can Expect From Season 8 Episode 13

The Blacklist has been filled with many twists and turns and a multitude of things no one can expect, so much so that anything is kind of possible for the crime thriller. The new episode bears the name, and the marks, of one mysterious Anne.

She’s someone that Reddington is close to, even sharing a sort of romantic interest in her, and he totally trusts her. But with so many enemies closing in on him, it’s possible to question how careful or careless he may choose to be regarding the meeting.

According to the episode’s description, Reddington “enjoys a quiet visit with a friend (guest star LaChanze) at her home in rural America.” That’s about as much clue as we’ve got to go on. Red plans a peaceful visit, but there are strong doubts if it would turn out as he’d hoped. With the recent win over the Russian associate, which prevented the murder of Cooper, his dwindled confidence may be boosted and it would kind of take him back to those days when he used to think that he’s untouchable, or at least nearly so.

He knows he is being hunted by his enemies, and even by his former close friends now turned enemies, so he possibly would have calculated both the danger to himself and to Anne, since most of the guys after him are not averse to hurting someone close to him just to get at him.
