Liz Keen was last seen in a rapid flight after attempting to end Raymond Reddington’s life and has been hiding for the last eight episodes.
NBC’s Press Release revealed “Misère” will be “Liz-centric”. It will have a “retrospective look” at Liz’s key turning points in becoming a fugitive. Season 8 Episode 14 will provide further information as to where Liz is hiding and planning the whole time, including the people she’s working with.
The Press Release states: “Steps will be retraced that lead her to align with a powerful enemy.” It might also indicate Neville Townsend’s (Reg Rogers) return, as the story will be seen through a flashback manner.
Liz is determined to kill Red as she suspects he is responsible for her mother’s Katarina Rostova (Laila Robins) death. She also believes he is “N-13”. Liz’s determination to uncover the truth about her former partner will lead her to team up with unlikely allies. The two have worked together in taking down common enemies. Fans are yet to see if they will find the two working together or against each other.
