The Boys Season 4 Fans Are PUMPED About Jeffrey Dean Morgan

The Boys Season 4 was greenlit in June 2022 which was good news in itself. However, news arrived this week that Dean Jeffrey Morgan joins the cast in a recurring role. So, fans of the superpowered cast are totally pumped about it.

As Negan in The Walking Dead, Jeffrey seemed arrogant, selfish, and up for almost any dodgy deal. So, he probably slots right in with the rest of the cast. Mind you, although the early seasons of the AMC show revealed a tough character, small slivers of humanity emerged. And to some, he was a hero of sorts. Actually, a lot of people agreed with him when he felt that TWD took out Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) prematurely. 

The Boys are all really bad boys under their heroic personas. A bit like both Rick and Negan, it’s hard to say that they act altruistically. But, nobody cares about that aspect in the new season. Instead, fans just love that the man they love to hate joins the team looking to bring down Vought. Mind you, it’s not clear that he does. After all, he could be a part of the Seven. That’s because his actual character hasn’t yet been revealed.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan – In The Boys

People Magazine reported that Prime Video confirmed that Jeffrey takes on his new role. But, it took some juggling as he’s busy filming for his AMC spinoff.  What does he think about joining the team? Well, he’s actually “SO DAMN STOKED!” That came on his Twitter account and he sounds almost as excited as his many fans. 

The news about The Boys was shared by many outlets and fan groups. When Culture Crave tweeted about it, the response was excellent. Just that single account had the post retweeted nearly 10K times in a matter of hours. Likes and comments ticked up continually, an indication of just how well the news went down.

Basically, there were NO bad reactions to The Boys’ news. Or, if they were, they were buried way down in the thread’s replies. Overwhelming support seemed evident. @ItsEurb tweeted, “They’ve got all the good actors now.”

Clearly ripped with happiness, @GR8_Brown_Shark wrote, “I was already pumped with the announcement of season 4, but they bringing my boy Negan in too?? LETS GOOO!”
