Am I getting ahead of myself? Seems like I am. Okay, here’s everything we know about the sixth and final season of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale.’
‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Teaser Promises A Revolution Like No Other
It’s been a long time coming and all we can hope for is that it doesn’t disappoint. Although judging from the teaser alone, we’re definitely in for the ride of our lives.
The teaser begins with Elisabeth Moss’ protagonist June Osborne bringing us up to speed on the Handmaids and their collective stance against the injustices done to them.
She says, “They believed that these garments that they put on our bodies told the world who we are. To mark us, they put us in red — the color of blood. They forgot that it’s also the color of rage. The dress became our uniform, and we became an army.”
As this narration goes on, we see the Handmaids banding together and even exchanging knives. There’s flashes of a fire, a dead body, some kind of cult of men, and then June.

Created for television by Bruce Miller, the sixth season’s plot reads, “June’s unyielding spirit and determination pull her back into the fight to take down Gilead. Luke and Moira join the resistance.
Serena tries to reform Gilead while Commander Lawrence and Aunt Lydia reckon with what they have wrought, and Nick faces challenging tests of character.
This final chapter of June’s journey highlights the importance of hope, courage, solidarity, and resilience in the pursuit of justice and freedom.”
On April 8, three episodes from the final season will premiere on Hulu. After that, fans can get to watch new ones as it drops weekly, with the finale set to arrive on May 27.
As one chapter ends, another opens in the way of a spinoff show called ‘The Testaments.’
