Navarro, best known as a co-host on The View, returned to Celebrity Jeopardy! to compete against actress Yvette Nicole Brown and podcaster David Friedberg.
Having participated in the show back in 2022, one would assume she had a solid grasp of the format. However, as the practice session began, it became clear that wasn’t the case.
Before filming, contestants go through a rehearsal round to get comfortable with the buzzer, pacing, and gameplay rules. Since host Ken Jennings isn’t present for this segment, producers step in to guide the participants. Unfortunately, Navarro needed more guidance than expected.

According to sources, she repeatedly forgot to answer in the form of a question—a fundamental rule of Jeopardy!
Instead of responding with “What is…?” or “Who is…?”, she simply stated her answers outright. This wasn’t a one-time mistake either.
“Ana had to be reminded at least 10-15 times to answer in the correct format,” a source told The U.S. Sun. Despite multiple corrections, she continued making the same error. Frustration mounted, and even the studio audience began reacting.
“Each time she made the mistake, the audience would also make a disappointed noise after it happened so many times,” the source added.
At one point, Navarro’s exasperation boiled over. “I’m going to just walk off this stage. I cannot get this right,” she declared, throwing up her hands in frustration.

Redemption Under the Spotlight
Despite the rocky rehearsal, Navarro managed to pull herself together once the cameras started rolling. Her responses were formatted correctly, and she performed respectably throughout the game.
The match was intense, with all three contestants exchanging the lead multiple times. One category, focused on politics and geography, played right into Navarro’s strengths. She dominated that section, answering every question correctly and accumulating a solid score.
However, the real challenge came during Final Jeopardy!, where Friedberg had built a comfortable lead. Navarro took a bold gamble, betting everything on the final question:
“The idea for this book, originally titled A Week With Willi the Worm, came to the author as he punched holes in a stack of paper.”
The correct response? The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Unfortunately, Navarro didn’t get it right. While Friedberg also fumbled the answer slightly, he still secured victory with a final total of $3,599.
The Aftermath—A Win for Charity
Though Navarro walked away with $0, she didn’t leave empty-handed. Each contestant received $30,000 for their chosen charity. She had selected the Maestro Cares Foundation, co-founded by Marc Anthony, which supports underprivileged children in Latin America and the U.S.
Meanwhile, Friedberg, the night’s winner, played for The Humane Society, a charity focused on animal welfare. Yvette Nicole Brown chose DonorsChoose, a platform that connects teachers with donors to fund classroom projects.
As the competition continues, Friedberg will advance in the celebrity tournament, where the ultimate champion will win a $1 million donation for their charity.
While Navarro’s performance may not have been flawless, she left the stage knowing she had contributed to a cause she cares about.
And despite the behind-the-scenes struggles, she ultimately played the game with determination and a sense of humor—even if it took her a few extra tries to get the format right.
