Taylor Swift left the Golden Globes early after host Jo Koy mocked her. But now The View panel stars have sided with Koy.
And The View panelists also scolded Taylor for her reaction. Get all the details below.
The View Spoilers – Hosts Slam Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift recently revealed her anger at Golden Globes host Jo Koy. But after seeing the singer look upset over Koy mocking her at the awards show, The View panel participants sided with Koy via EW.
However, Koy’s monologue proved unpopular with viewers, many of the celebs in the Golden Globe audience, and critics. But The View host Sara Haines argued that stars like Taylor need to develop “a sense of humor.”
And moderator of The View Whoopi Goldberg agreed. Despite Taylor looking so unhappy after hearing Koy mock her, Whoopi shared, “These gigs, these hosting gigs are brutal. They’re just brutal. If you don’t know the room, if you’ve not been in these rooms before and you’re thrust out there, it’s hit or miss,” she added based on her own experience hosting the Oscars.

And Whoopi admitted, “I don’t know whether it was the room or the jokes” about the backlash Koy experienced. “But I do know that he’s as good as it gets when it comes to stand-ups. It’s not an easy gig. If you read any of the reviews of some of the gigs that I’ve had, where they just wished me into the cornfields, die on the vine, it’s not an easy gig.”
However, Sara Haines shared, “I love Jo Koy and the whole time I was nervous for him because I think he’s so funny. He’s kind, he’s good, all the things. What bothers me more in watching this is, get a sense of humor, because we need to protect these national treasures called our comedians, because life needs them.”
And she added, “We need to stop binding them in, fencing them in. In that room, Jo Koy is punching up. No one feels sorry. Just smile.”
The View Spoilers – Jo Koy ‘Inherently Nice’?
However, Alyssa Farah Griffin offered her views on Koy joking about Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce. And Griffin shared, “I think he’s such an inherently nice person that doing more of a roast is not natural for him. Whereas [prior Globes host] Ricky Gervais will just go in and knock people over.”
But Koy actually seemed to realize that his jokes didn’t go over well amid his Golden Globes monologue. And after the audience failed to react to a joke, he said, “Some I wrote, some other people wrote. Yo, I got the gig 10 days ago. You want a perfect monologue? Shut up! You’re kidding me, right? Slow down. I wrote some of these, and they’re the ones you’re laughing at.”

I agree. Taylor should have laughed at herself. Maybe though she thought she was protecting Travis.
That was the worst Golden globes monologue I have ever heard the guy is not funny at all you can tell by everybody’s reactions there and who cares what the hell the view thinks of anything
