‘The View’ On An Extended Hiatus – But When Is It Scheduled To Return?

The View is on a holiday hiatus, which is normal for many shows. With that said, from the looks of it, it may be off longer than some have anticipated. CTS has the scoop on when viewers should anticipate new episodes.

‘The View’ – When Will It Return In 2025?

The ladies of The View have taken time off during Christmas and New Year, and fans of the show have had the opportunity to watch reruns, which is a great way to catch up on shows they may have missed.

Still, there’s nothing like a brand-new episode, so when should fans expect this?

Both Christmas and New Year’s landed in the middle of this week this year, so while it is officially 2025, and the holidays are technically “over”, viewers will have to wait a bit longer to see new shows of The View.

In fact, the popular ABC daytime talk show won’t be back with new episodes until Monday, January 6, 2025.

As per 1iota.com, the site that releases tickets for shows like Live with Kelly & Mark, as well as The View, the release date to sell tickets for a live episode on the show is next Monday.

What Have The View Ladies Been Doing During Their Holiday Break?

While the holidays are perfect for some “downtime”, Whoopi Goldberg will be working, as she’s picked up a stint on Broadway. Goldberg will be playing Miss Hannigan in Annie.

However, she’s only doing a small number of shows, and someone will step in after she returns to The View. Goldberg’s run in Annie is from December 11 to January 5.

Still, some questions remain about how the panel will look in 2025 as there’s been a buzz that executives of the show want to shake up the new season. Only time will tell.
