The View already got a holiday shakeup during Thanksgiving and now, as the holiday season is in full swing, the show is doing reruns. Read on to find out when you can expect live shows to return with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Reruns Air For The View
It’s normal that each Christmas holiday season, viewers get to see reruns. Actually, a lot of people can’t always watch the daytime show. So, when they get a break over the holidays, some fans like the repeats. Despite a rumored shakeup with the panel, they will be back after a bit of a break. If the Execs do a shakeup to be more appealing to conservative viewers, it’s likely they would add rather than subtract new panelists.
The View has been a bit contentious recently with Whoopi Goldberg joking about Elon Musk planning to kill off Donald Trump: a joke she had to reassure viewers wasn’t at all serious. Well, plenty of recent chatter on the ABC show revolved around Trump and his team. And probably, it will continue when the live shows return before the inauguration.
When Does The View Restart Live Shows?
TV Shows Ace reminded readers that the daytime talk show panel has taken leave. The outlet noted:
The last episode of 2024 aired on Friday, December 20, and starting on December 23, there will be no new episodes until the start of 2025.
In two weeks, Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of the co-hosts should return, hopefully safely. The next time The View airs live will be on ” January 6, 2025.” So for now, Whoopi Goldberg goes off to appear on Broadway in “Annie, which is playing at Madison Square Garden.”
Whoopi Goldberg Has Her Fall-Back Acting
This year, Whoopi Goldberg claimed that like every other person in America, she needs to work hard or she can’t afford to live. Some critics thought it was crazy for her to describe herself as an average worker. Simply put, her wealth sets her apart. But, she at least has a fallback career as an actor.
Even if the live shows on The View never return after the holiday break, Whoopi probably won’t have to exist on soup kitchen handouts during this holiday season. Apparently, the rest of the co-hosts will be spending time with their families, enjoying the break like most other people who can afford to relax at this time of the year.
If you missed the last live of 2024 on The View, you can watch it below.
