The View moderator Whoopi Goldberg usually manages to stay in control of the daytime talk show conversation. But when the topic turned to sex nicknames, even Whoopi felt challenged.
Find out what The View hosts agreed that viewers should know about intimate conversations. And keep reading to learn how Whoopi and her co-stars reacted to sex nicknames.
The View Spoilers – Mistakes After Sex Revealed
When the ladies of The View sit down at the table, anything goes. Well, maybe not quite anything. Because when the day’s Hot Topics turned to sex nicknames, the women appeared to agree that some topics qualify as TMI (Too Much Information).
And moderator Whoopi Goldberg agreed with the general view that what occurs amid and after sex should remain in the bedroom rather than become fodder for a talk show. It all started when the panelists brought up an article featuring intimacy coach Holly Robinson’s advice, per EW.
However, Holly focused on the seven biggest mistakes people can make after having sex. For instance, negativity, checking a cell phone, and referring to an ex all made the list of don’t-do-that bans. And then came the rule of “no more naughty names,” as Sunny Hostin observed. “Once sex has ceased, stop addressing your partner with the potentially derogatory terms.”

But the revelation sparked mixed reactions, ranging from humor to horror. However, Alyssa Farah Griffith confessed, “I mean, I believe that.” And she added, “Daddy doesn’t have the same ring to it after.”
But Hostin got into a giggle fit as Whoopi Goldberg and Sara Haines hid their expressions. And Joy Behar confessed that she once called someone the wrong name amid the sex. However, Joy then suggested naughty nicknames and expressions such as “Who’s your Daddy?” “Or Mommy!”
However, a shocked Goldberg opined, “Mommy’s not a good one either!” And then Hostin tried to understand. “Why are people talking so much?” Sunny asked. And she recommended, “Just say, ‘thank you’ and ‘goodnight’.”
The View Spoilers – Whoopi Goldberg Talks Sex Rules
But Goldberg pointed out that as the only single host on The View, she wins as “the only one who can say goodnight. Because I’m ushering them out the door,” she noted. “Y’all are in there for the duration, so you have to be careful what you do!”
However, The View hosts concurred that partners should not ask about performances. And Whoopi asked, “Why isn’t that on the list? Don’t ask, don’t tell.”
But Haines confessed that she does sometimes ask a partner about chores or check her phone. For instance, she recalled stopping and asking, “Babe, did the plumber call today?” But she defended such questions.
And Haines explained that intimacy offers one of the few occasions on which she and her partner are together. “I may not get to see him again! We have three kids, we run in opposite directions,” she noted. “He got what he wanted, I’m gonna get what I wanted. ‘Did the plumber call’?”
