TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers – Avery Warner And Ash Naeck’s Relationship
Avery went on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days to film meeting her online boyfriend, Ash Naeck. The American woman realized once she got to Australia that they had very different views on gender roles and Ash embellished the truth. As for Avery, she appeared hysterical during one discussion with Ash, then another debate had her sitting on the couch completely speechless and looking frozen.
Avery Warner Implies TLC Over-Edited
On Instagram, a 90 Day Fiance fan commented on one of Avery’s photos and noted the stark contrast between her appearance on the TLC reality show and the person. The follower wrote that Avery seems sweet, intelligent, and compassionate. However, they wondered why her episode had her looking like a totally different person who was intoxicated and swore.
The TLC personality responded to the fan comment by saying viewers only get 5% of the real story. Avery said that the show is constructed to portray the cast the way TLC wants viewers to see them.
Avery isn’t the only one to slam the show for “creative editing.” Jay Smith said the fight about Tinder girls was staged. He told In Touch magazine that if there is no drama, there is no show. There was also the bathroom cheating scandal, but it’s claimed that they got paid $500 to do that. Michael Jessen and Emily Larina also said they were heavily edited.
TLC 90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers – Not Just 90 Day Fiance: Other TLC Stars Get ‘Bad Editing’
On the show Sister Wives, which also airs on TLC, Meri Brown has repeatedly said over the years that she is always edited to look like a villain. Many times after episodes aired, she would go on social media to set the record straight.
For example, Meri and Robyn Brown would have some sort of crazy conflict and fans would be furious over what played out on screen. In one instance, the women came together to reassure fans that they weren’t getting nasty with one another. Nobody was snubbing the other. They were perfectly fine and talked out the issue with positive results. But viewers wouldn’t have known that because it was so heavily edited.
It’s understandable why reality shows have to do some editing for clarity and length. However, there is authentic, professional editing to take out filler without taking away the original message (writing goes through a similar process). Then, there is an omission, hyper-editing, and deliberate negative editing. Perhaps the reality stars we hate aren’t as evil as we think.
