Is Ash too Sensitive for Reality TV?
Ash took a break from social media after backlash ignited during an April 19 episode. During one scene, Avery confronted the 38-year-old over the conversations he had with his female clients. To ensure her trust, Ash invited Avery to witness one of his dating seminars while she was in Australia in the following episode.
“I really hope that seeing Ash with his clients gives me a little bit more reassurance that his intentions are in the right place when it comes to working with single women,” Avery said during her confessional.

Avery took to Instagram for a Q&A to talk about his controversial seminar, which he was supposed to help women “find Mr. Right.” Instead, it came off as sexist as he shared his views on gender roles.
“He had done a couple [of seminars], but everything we do is a learning experience and we aren’t going to be perfect from the get-go,” she wrote.
Avery also feels that Ash just “poorly explained himself” and didn’t mean to cause controversy. “I don’t believe he is sexist, all I wanted [was for him to] understand is that making blanket statements creates segregation and separation,” the TLC star wrote in another message.

Love you all.”
It’s also unclear whether Ash’s online relationship coaching services are on hold. He often uses social media to connect with his female clients.
