TLC 90 Day Fiance Spoilers: Before The 90 Days: Geoffrey Paschel Speaks Out About Emotional Split From Varya Malina – Says He ‘Checked Out’ Of The Relationship

TLC 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days updates and spoilers have some news to pass on about Geoffrey Paschel, who has just ended things with Varya Malina on the show. As viewers know, Geoffrey mustered up the courage to propose marriage to Varya, but Varya didn’t say yes to his proposal. Instead, Varya wanted to slow things down a bit, so she essentially said “no, not yet” to Geoffrey’s proposal.

Well, Geoffrey wasn’t pleased with that response, and he basically saw the writing on the wall and realized that things between himself and Varya weren’t meant to be. After all, time probably wasn’t going to change what Varya or her family felt about Geoffrey’s past, and Geoffrey seemed to be able to see that.

After Sunday’s show aired, Geoffrey took to Instagram to share some of his thoughts on his split from Varya. Geoffrey shared a photo of himself with his dogs among some plants and said a few words about how the dogs were “two massive rocks that seem to ground me.” Then the subject turned a bit more serious and Geoffrey directly addressed how he felt while watching this past Sunday’s show.

“While watching the show last night, I relived the experience,” Geoffrey said. “I recalled that painful moment when I just wanted to quickly get out of Russia and back home. Not only was I in a foreign country, but the whole relationship in an instant became foreign.”

Geoffrey continued: “As I’ve said, this experience wasn’t acting; this was real. I dwelled on this moment until I had to leave. I took a chance on love; I put it all on the table. I was hurt in a way that is hard to process. Logic tells me that I cannot be mad at the other person – the person I love. Varya is a fantastic woman & I had to emotionally force myself away from her for my own sanity.”

Geoffrey then went on to make an analogy between the cantaloupe he planted and his relationship with Varya. “This isn’t much different than when I handed my heart over w/ the hopes it would be preserved,” Geoffrey said. “I’m someone who will always take a chance – it is ingrained in me.”

Geoffrey continued: “I wanted so bad for my plant to flourish, but I emotionally checked out when my life took a turn. We had one chance as we had spoken about to each other. Could it have been cultural miscommunication – definitely!” Geoffrey went on and ultimately asked his readers to comment about when they had taken a chance and ultimately gotten hurt.

Geoffrey’s words shed a bit more light on what he was thinking and feeling during those final tense moments with Varya. But judging from what Geoffrey’s followers have been posting, it looks like his words rang hollow for many.

As one Instagram user replied: “If you love someone, you always fight for them but you clearly didn’t give a damn and you were ready to throw all you had behind as soon as things didn’t go your way – all she asked was to take things slow.” And someone else asked: “You don’t feel like you were too uncompromising? That it was now or never?”

Of course, Geoffrey basically admitted in his post that he “checked out” of the relationship, but that’s how he felt at the time. At any rate, in an interesting turn of events, the previews from next Sunday’s all-new episode of Before The 90 Days indicate that Varya will be texting Geoffrey a lot in the days after he returns home from Russia.

But given Geoffrey’s words in his Instagram post, it doesn’t seem like he will be too willing to keep any sort of conversation going with Varya from here on out.
