TLC 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days updates and spoilers tease that Erika Owens and Stephanie Matto have been enjoying a reprieve from the drama lately. As 90 Days viewers know, Erika recently took Stephanie to dinner at her parents’ house and came out to her parents as bisexual. It was a situation that could have had a very different ending, but ultimately Erika’s parents were cool with the revelation and accepted both Erika and Stephanie with open arms.

That was great news for Erika and Stephanie, and in the new sneak peek for next Sunday’s episode that’s available on TLC.com and on the TLC GO app, the couple will have another good experience together. They’ll go to another gathering of Erika’s friends for “game night,” and Stephanie will be drawn into a board game that is pretty revealing.

In fact, at first, it will look like more drama between Stephanie and Erika’s friends might be on the way, but then things will end up being fun and relaxed and everyone will have a good time. It will be just what the group needed to start over with a clean slate. Things will really be looking up.

But the previews for next Sunday’s episode show Erika and Stephanie going down an all-too-familiar road and having yet another big argument. The preview doesn’t suggest exactly what might have precipitated the argument, but it could have something to do with Stephanie and her desire to come out as bisexual to her mother.

In the sneak peek, Stephanie and Erica are shown on a video chat call with Stephanie’s mom. Stephanie is all set to tell her mother that she’s bisexual and that Erika is her girlfriend, but at the last minute she chickens out. Stephanie gets so far as to tell her mom she’s got a confession to make but then she says that she went shark cage diving with Erika rather than telling her mom that she’s bisexual or that Erika is her girlfriend.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days – Intimacy Issues Are Back!

Could Erika and Stephanie’s big blowup have something to do with Stephanie’s last-minute decision not to tell her mother about Erika being her girlfriend? Or will some other issue crop up for Erika and Stephanie? Could intimacy issues crop back up? Whatever the case, it looks like the blowup between Erika and Stephanie will be a serious one, with Stephanie throwing an object in anger.

We’ll see what happens here, but it’s a shame that all the happiness that viewers have seen between Erika and Stephanie during the past couple of episodes will be marred by another fight.
