“We met online,” she revealed in an interview with Without a Crystal Ball. “We met through a mutual friend out of the UK. I knew her, she knew him, and he was looking for a female companion. And I just knew her reputation, I’m like, ‘Uh, I don’t know about this…but send him through my filtered messaging, and I’ll see what it’s about.'”
While Lisa was worried about Usman’s authenticity, she pursued a relationship with him.
“I was 49 and Usman was 29 when we first met,” she continued. “And when we first met, I’ll be honest with you…I honestly thought, ‘Oh great, another yahoo boy out of Nigeria that’s going to harass me to no end.’ And I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I don’t like that stigma.”

90 Day Fiancé spoilers reveal that Usman married Lisa for a serious reason. And it wasn’t a ticket to America. He revealed that he was concerned about her mental health. Every time Lisa told Usman she loved him; she would start crying. She cried so much that he decided to stay with her.
Usman Umar then realized that things wouldn’t work between them.
“So, after some time, I was like, ‘This cannot continue.’ We spent about one year, you telling me that you love me, you love me,” Usman said in an interview on Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast. “And I was saying ‘I love you, I love you.’ But deeply, I know it’s not love. I don’t love you for real honestly,” he said. “But I do that to make you happy. So Lisa started trying to commit suicide, I was like ‘No.'”
Meanwhile, Lisa’s rep denied the claim that she threatened to kill herself.
