TLC ’90 Day Fiance’ Spoilers: Jenny Talks Reuniting With Sumit, Forgiveness, and Healing

TLC 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way season 2 will feature Jenny Slatten. As fans recall, she went to India to be with her love, Sumit. However, she eventually found out he was in an arranged marriage and was abandoned when his in-laws came to “collect him.” The two are back together and the TLC star talks about her relationship, forgiveness, and healing.

Jenny Slatten’s Relationship Status

Even though Jenny left India and returned to Florida, the Tell-All special revealed that she was still with Sumit. When speaking with TV Insider, the TLC star said that they never broke up. She left India due to her visa and because of the big blow-up with Sumit’s in-laws. However, their romance never ended.

Forgiveness and Healing

The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way cast member explained that she knew that Sumit was going to get divorced. So, she went back and waited for it to happen. Even though she had to leave her family for a second time, Jenny makes it clear that her daughters understand that she is happy with Sumit. They have been involved for eight years and even though there were concerns about Sumit, Jenny’s children completely support the relationship.

Adjusting To Indian Culture and Standards

Jenny was asked if adjusting to the culture was a bit easier the second time she went to India. She explained that she can fit into the culture because she’s open-minded, kind, and someone that goes along with how things are. She doesn’t argue and tries not to complain.

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Season 2 Spoilers

Jenny spoke honestly about Sumit’s family. She hasn’t really had any interactions with them yet. But she already predicts it will be difficult. When explaining what she hopes viewers get out of watching her story on TLC, Jenny had this to say:

“Long-distance relationships can work and they do work. We’ve been in our relationship for a long time, over 8 years. We started talking in 2011 online. There is hope. I share my story with the world and the world sees that it can work…”
