Like many families during the coronavirus pandemic, TLC 90 Day Fiancé’s Nicole Nafziger is missing her daughter May while in lockdown in Morocco with fiancé Azan.
When Nicole Nafziger traveled to Morocco to be with her 90 Day Fiancé, Azan Tefou, she never imagined being trapped in the North African country. However, the COVID-19 pandemic began and Morocco shut down its borders. This means Nicole is unable to go home to see her beloved daughter, May. Nafziger is obviously truly missing her daughter and she recently shared a cute image of May to Instagram.
90 Day Fiancé star in lockdown in Morocco
Like many families in the world, Nicole Nafziger, 26, is missing her six-year-old daughter May. While she seems to be happy to still be with Azan Tefou in his home country, it must surely hurt to not be able to hug her little girl. She hit Instagram to share an adorable photo of May, looking a little grumpy and with cute and scruffy bed hair.

Nicole captioned the image, “May is a mood,” and continues by writing “When you’ve lost track of how long you’ve been in quarantine.”
Like most of us, the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After stars are struggling to accept the “new normal.” Nicole posted on Instagram on May 19 to show what her “quarantine life” is all about by sharing an image of Nafziger playing The Sims.
Nicole and Azan in Morocco
Nicole first arrived in Morocco during March and initially, she and Azan are excited to be with each other again after so long. 90 Day Fiancé fans started worrying, however, when they realized it was April and Nicole had still not returned home. Now, of course, it’s May, and she is still there.
At that time, Robbalee Nafziger, her mom, was quick to reassure Nicole’s fans by posting an update to Instagram. Robbalee wrote that Nicole was “good” and is still “hunkered down” with Azan until Morocco lifts the travel ban.
A source told In Touch that Nicole is still doing well, despite the difficult circumstances of the lockdown. They did say she wishes she could be with her family but is getting by. Nicole and Robbalee made a plan for May for the time being, with Nicole keeping in touch using FaceTime, and Robbalee in charge of May’s homeschooling.
According to the insider, Nicole doesn’t think being stuck in Morocco is totally a bad thing. They say Nicole is very much in love with Azan and is happy to be with him. There was even a hint Nafziger might not leave Tefou when the travel ban is lifted. Of course, she would return home for her daughter, May.
90 Day Fiancé stars ‘happily engaged’
Back in November last year, Nicole and Azan announced they were still “happily engaged” and are “stronger than ever.” While they do plan to get married one day, they are holding off the wedding for now. Obviously, they would want Nicole’s mother and daughter to be there for the event.
For now, Nicole and Azan have to live out the coronavirus pandemic in Morocco and keep in touch with Robbalee and May online.
