TLC 90 Day Fiance spoilers and update reveal Tom Brooks doesn’t seem to understand the concept of Before the 90 Days. The 90 Day Fiance star revealed that he didn’t understand that engagement was a possibility. He vehemently stated before that he didn’t know what he was getting himself into when he agreed to be on the show with then-girlfriend Darcey Silva.

The 90 Day Fiance spoilers reveal that Tom Brooks didn’t read the room. The entire concept of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days went over his head. In an interview on The Domenick Nati Show, Tom said that he never watched an episode of the show before. For real. He didn’t understand that engagement was the end goal.

“I went on this show not knowing what it was,” Tom explained. “I didn’t even really know what the show was about. In hindsight, I probably would have watched it.”

Shortly after he filmed the “Tell-All,” Tom spoke to Nati once again where he reiterated what he said before. He had no idea what the concept of the show was when he first joined the cast of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

“I didn’t actually realize the whole concept of the show. So when she’s saying, ‘Would you like to get married?’ and I’m going ‘What?’ – I didn’t actually know it was all about getting married or getting a green card, honestly,” Tom admitted.

He realized the show’s premise after a week of filming.

The 90 Day Fiance spoilers reveal that Tom finally understood what the show was about. He realized that it was about international couples getting married. He originally thought that Before the 90 Days was about meeting someone for the first time and then go on 90 Day Fiance and get married. He admits that he didn’t understand the concept at first.

90 Day Fiancé – Tom Brooks Didn’t Watch Darcey Silva And Jesse Meester’s season

During that same interview, Tom also said that he didn’t watch Darcey’s season with ex-boyfriend Jesse Meester. He felt that watching any prior episodes “would cloud my judgment about who [Darcey] was as a person.” When Darcey first asked him to be on the show with her, he originally said “no.”

He constantly said “no” for months. Then he got drunk and agreed to go on the show with her. He also did his interview calls drunk and the rest is 90 Day Fiance history.

Tom is done with 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, but he’s interested in appearing on 90 Day Fiance: Pillow Talk in the near future.
