Geoffrey Paschel Has Been A Bad Boy – Presumed Innocent
It would seem that an ex-girlfriend of Geoffrey’s has accused him of abuse. This surfaced in January, shortly before the fourth season premiere. Allegedly, he attacked his then-girlfriend in their home in June 2019. We must remember that all accused are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, even in a case such as this. She claims that the attack was vicious.
Some 90 Day Fiancé fans learned of the allegations and started petitioning TLC to fire Geoffrey from the program, but the network allowed his story to play out – perhaps because they realized innocence must be presumed before guilt is proven in any criminal case. However, TLC did decide not to bring him on the special, and Varya Malina didn’t show up either. But then, what is a show about couples if one half of the couple is missing? Why bother?
However, Geoffrey Paschel Does Have A Criminal History
However, Geoffrey does have a criminal history – one so extensive that he is barred from the country of Canada, due to past accusations of charges as serious as kidnapping, rape, child endangerment, and felony larceny. Also, he has been quoted to have brushed off his current accusations as his ex-girlfriend just trying to get back at him – and make him look bad in a child custody case.
Blame shifting to the victim honestly, is a hallmark of an abusive man. But then, women have been known also to take advantage of the “Me Too” movement to do exactly that – accusing a past boyfriend, husband, work associate, or even complete strangers such as celebrities of sexual harassment, abuse, and worse but when their accusations came under the light of examination they could not prove their allegations and recanted their testimonies!
Innocent Until Proven Guilty
Again, innocent until proven guilty! However, Geoffrey did open up about TLC’s decision not to invite him to participate in the special, calling it “unfortunate” in a May 19 appearance on “The Domenick Nati Show”. He is quoted as having said, “I feel the network has bowed down to the pressure of a few thousand people as opposed to, you know, the 3.3 million people that watch the show, which is unfortunate. We’re in a different time now with the whole ‘Me Too’ movement and whatever, so there’s a lot of pressure to cower to the minority in wanting to make sure they’re not making the wrong decision, you know?”
He explained further, saying that the abuse allegations are to make him look bad in a child custody case involving his ex-wife and that his court hearings continue to be delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. He expects to be fully exonerated, however. It sounds like the ex-wife and the ex-girlfriend must be cooperating with one another regarding the charges.
He continued telling Nati, “I have everything I need to exonerate me, and this is all just a ploy. This is all just an agenda to try to make me lose custody of my child… I am not accepting anything other than a full exoneration.”
He further stated that he would reach out to fans to explain everything in his own time. He also told Nati that he intends to film his own tell-all and put it on YouTube, and Varya Malina was thinking of doing so as well to keep fans up on everything.
