TLC’ “90 Day Fiancé – Ariela And Her Mother Traveled To Ethiopia In Recent Episodes Of The Show
We know that Ariela was around six months along when she and her mother traveled to Ethiopia to check out the medical and obstetrical facilities in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where Biniyam Shibre lived. The show was filmed, obviously, before the Covid-19 coronavirus crisis which began in earnest, in February.
This is June, and that has been five months since the crisis, and lockdowns began, so it stands to reason that the baby must have arrived by now! We also know from previews that came out a couple of weeks ago that she had some pregnancy complications – in one preview she is in a doctor’s office and says something burns, as a medical team surrounds her and she is given a shot; and then it looks like she is intubated, perhaps needing oxygen.
This scene is in Ethiopia, one can see the medical team is Ethiopian and it appears to be in a small clinic; and Biniyam indeed is present so it looks like this scene indeed may have been filmed when she was in the process of giving birth to her baby. But why are there no baby photos on any of her or Shibre’s social media? Did everything go alright with the baby? Fans are speculating as to whether the baby is alive and well – Ariela herself seems to be, and a thirty-two-pound weight loss would not be unusual after giving birth. The new photo certainly confirms there is no more baby belly!
TLC’ “90 Day Fiancé – A Recent Entertainment Tonight Interview Gives Viewers Some Clues As To The Fate Of The Baby
There was a fairly recent interview with Melicia Johnson in which Ariela was able to give some clues. However, she did say since the birth of the baby and what happened will take place on a future episode of “90 Day Fiancé-The Other Way”, she could not reveal much about what happened, and in her Facebook account when a fan asked her what happened to her baby she also confirmed she couldn’t say much about it but that she talked a little about it on the “Entertainment Tonight” interview, which was on the first of June.
She described it as a “heart-wrenching” storyline, but that does not necessarily mean that the baby, who she said was a boy, did not survive. Ariela said in the interview when asked a question about was her relationship with Biniyam and her trip to Ethiopia worth it, that she “got a baby boy out of it.”
She didn’t seem sad or upset, as someone who had lost her first baby at birth, so there is a good chance that there is good news. It sounds more like the lack of baby photos and her not being forthcoming when directly asked about her baby is only related to not spoiling what is going to happen ahead in the show!
